Aleksandar Simic

Aleksandar Simic has been a member of the Belgrade Bar Association since 1987. He specializes in public law, constitutional and administrative law, commercial law and civil procedural law.

He obtained his Master’s degree in comparative constitutional law at Central European University in Budapest and University of New York in 1996.

In 2001, he became the first member of the Serbian Bar Association to be elected as a judge of the Federal Constitutional Court. From 2004 to 2008, he served as chief legal counsel to the Prime Minister of Serbia, as well as legal counsel in the Ministry of Justice.

Aleksandar is the author of numerous legal studies and articles published in legal journals, including “Archive for Legal and Social Sciences,” “Human Rights” and “Economics.”
