Veljko Popovic is a legal trainee at JMS & Partners, which he joined in 2024. Before that, he completed a year of traineeship at the Second Basic Court in Belgrade, where he gained significant practical experience. In the same year, he enrolled in Master’s academic studies at the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade, majoring in Corporate Law, where he gained a deep understanding of contemporary challenges in the field of business law, as well as significant regulatory frameworks that influence the development of entrepreneurship and corporations.
Veljko plays a key role, providing support primarily in the areas of corporate law, dispute resolution, labor law and civil law. His practical experience and academic background make him a valuable team member who contributes to the wide spectrum of our legal services.
His professional development is not limited to practice alone, but also to continuous improvement and learning. He is active in seminars and workshops in the field of legal innovations, with particular interest in the role of technology in improving legal processes and business digitalization.
Additionally, Veljko speaks English fluently, which enables him to deal with international legal issues as well as to collaborate with clients from different legal systems.
